WATCH: They teach them early out in Philthydelphia NFL Twitter reacts as a young Eagles fa
Philadelphia Eagles have remained the No.1 seed in the NFC the entire regular season and postseason as well. They will now travel to Arizona to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII to win the coveted Lombardi Trophy.
It was an easy game for the Eagles as they defeated the 49ers 31-7 in what can be described as a beatdown at the second biggest stage in the league. Philadelphia proved to be a physical team as they crushed the 49ers’ offense. MVP finalist Jalen Hurts couldn’t get the passing game going and even the running game wasn’t all that great. But collectively as a unit, they managed to outscore San Francisco.
After Sunday’s game, one thing can be said for certain – Philly fans are the most ruthless fan base in the entire league. They did not spare the 49ers fans who came to the Lincoln Financial Field to watch their team have a meltdown. Even Joey Bosa, who came to support his younger brother, Nick Bosa, in the conference championship game, was not spared.
Philadelphia Eagles have some of the wildest fans in the league
An example of how much Eagles fanbase can be ruthless was seen in a recent video shared by Barstool Sports on Twitter. The video showed a young kid wearing Eagles’ star wide receiver DeVonta Smith’s jersey. The pre pubescent boy approached a 49ers’ fan who had donned a Nick Bosa jersey for a high five. As the man, who was around his mid-30s, happily obliged, the Philly fanboy flipped him the bird. The man laughed out loud as the young boy trolled him and his team. They really do teach them young in Philadelphia!
NFL fans on Twitter were divided into two factions. While some took it as a joke and were appreciative of the man for laughing it off, others starting babbling on about where the kid’s parents were, whether didn’t they teach him any manner, and so on.
Philly fans also heckled Joey Bosa first before the game and then during the game. Outside the stadium, Bosa was involved in a NSFW altercation with an Eagles fans who asked him when the Los Angeles Chargers were playing this week. Then while the game was in regulation, fans in section 114 kept on showing Bosa pictures of Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence on their phones.
